In my opinion, Benavidez is the guy at 168lbs who gives Canelo his toughest test, maybe even beats him! Billy Joe and Plant may have the 2 other belts that Canelo wants and I keep hearing pundits, fans, etc. saying how their stick and move, slickster, jab heavy style is the 1 to give Canelo trouble. For me, NAH!!! Its Benavidez, BIIGGG, strong, powerful, with a ram rod jab that'll bust your nose wide open! Along with a high punch output, great cardio and throws hard punches in combination! Yup, Benavidez is the guy IMO, who I really wanna see face Canelo at 168. Only problem with Benavidez? He keeps getting in his own way. Not once but twice he has been stripped of his WBC World title, the 1st time he won at just 21years old! He lost that for testing positive for Cocaine! Then he win it back in impressive fashion by beating Dirrells ASS!!! Only to lose it on his 1st defence on the scales, missed weight by almost 5lbs!!! Man, I hope the kid gets it all together outside the ring because inside he is a MONSTER(not Edgar Berlanga!, this guy is the REAL MONSTER!!) Oh by the way, this fight will be a vicious beatdown!!! The only thing to predict is what round Ellis cant continue. I'm guessing corner stoppage/or referee steps in around 5 or 6

One thing I've learnt from watching David Benavidez's fights is never to underestimate his power.
