I actually like sonnen's smack talk but if they ever fight again i think for the first time in a long time silva would close the distance fast and just lay a beatdown on sonnen. he would not wait to be taken down. usually andy likes to "time" most of his opponents but i think he would be on the offensive right from the get -go of this fight when or if it happens. your thoughts?

there is no doubt anderson is P4P king. look what he did to okami in a revenge fight. even though he won the fight with sonnen he was dominated in that fight. i think silva would want to prove a point and just wreck sonnen something fierce. early second round knockout for him. i think sonnen would get desperation takedown just in the first round and then get overwhelmed in the second. just my opinion.

I don't know if this is true or not but a friend told me he had seen an interview where Silva was saying he wanted to submit Sonnen in that fight because of all the stuff Sonnen was saying about BJJ. Even if it's not I think Silva is going to destroy him this time around, or Stann or whoever the UFC puts in front of him.

"“All of a sudden, he was shooting for a takedown, and I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re a wrestler now? Remember, I’m the black belt in jiu-jitsu. And you’re shooting on me now? This is a wrap." - Nate Diaz"

Sonnen couldn't finish off an injuired Silva. Good luck when he faces a healthy Spider.

I'm also of the opinion that the first fight was Sonnen's chance to take Silva out. Aside from the fact that Silva won't (hopefully) be nursing any major injuries heading into the rematch, I think he knows what to expect out of Sonnen now. Additionally, I think the fact that Sonnen took him almost five full rounds and still didn't break him might weigh on the challenger in the event they fight again.

I think Silva has the ability to beat anyone any way he wants, In the Sonnen fight he was only dominated because he was trying to get the sub, if they fight again I think Anderson will KO Sonnen no problem

sonnen is the only person in mma that can talk as much smack as he does and then go out and deliver

when they fight again sonnen will do exactly what he did last time but this time ghe will leave with the ufc middlewight belt

Take away Chael having over 4 times the amount of permissible testosterone in him, as well as Anderson having a broken rib, and well. I think Saturday showed us a pretty good idea of what to expect

Not really sure what Anderson has to do, it seems Sonnen's big mouth outweighs Anderson's accomplishments.
