I am sure many of you have seen the previous thread I made about doing something for the Bellator tournament on September 19. The interest was greater than I had expected, which was a happy surprise. If this goes well and is enjoyable I hope this challenge will become a staple when tournaments are held. So without further ado, here is the..

Tapology Tournament Challenge - aka Gayffindor's Selection Challenge (thank you to GreenHornet553 and shot2thesac for the names, respectively)

RULES:
- Predictions for all possible fights (five) must be posted prior to the start of the event.
- A prediction for the total time (minutes and seconds) of the three fights must be posted prior to the start of the event - this will be used to settle ties. If a tie is still present then the tie will stand.
- We will use Tapology's scoring system.

With Coker announcing the lineup this past Friday, at Bellator 141 we are ready to make our predictions - once again remember to make all possible predictions for the events, any predictions made after the start of the first tournament fight are not allowed.

Once again everyone is welcome to join!

If there are other future tournaments, will it be done the same way?

@rappinpapsoda, just like anything if any changes will make this better, then future tournaments will be different.

As of right now though the WSOF tournament in November maybe a straight-up pick em' tournament, because of the amount of fights.

Here are my predictions; I accidentally said five above, but it is six fights you have to predict, my bad. Reminder you also have to predict the total fight time for the three fights that take place.

Feel free to use my layout. Best of luck everyone and reminder anyone is welcomed to join!

Friendly reminder everyone that the first two Semi-final bouts are only two 5 minute rounds and the final bout is three 5 minute rounds. So the total possible time for the three fights is 35 minutes.

yes, pick the first two fights and then the possible outcomes of the other 4 possible fights.

if you look at my post, it has six figths picked.  The first two are set in stone and there are four other possibilities stemming from those two fights.

@GreenHornet553, exactly what rappinpapsoda said. A four-man tournament is too small to have a straight pick-em bracket.
