I thought it was. The action was back and forth there was a high level of technique and heart from both fighters and the pace was ridiculous.

It's too early to say IMO, but it was definitely a hell of a fight. In the top 5 right now, I still have Lawler vs. Hendricks at #1 and Varner vs. Trujillo at #2.

I have a hard time deciding between Lawler/Hendricks and Brown/Silva.

Preferred Hendricks/Lawler, much more competitive fight which imo made it more exciting. Silva gassed in like 3 minutes and was a punching bag for the rest of the fight, awesome but too one sided for my tastes.

Hendricks vs. Lawler and Trujillo vs. Varner were both better. 10 minutes of this fight was Silva trying to get finished...

I'd put it number 1. For now. I think it was slightly better than Hendricks/Lawler because both were very close to being stopped multiple times. Especially Brown with those body shots, but he found a way to win.

However, I don't think it stays number one when December 31 rolls around.
