Chuck would have absolutely nothing to gain by taking that fight.

I know. It highly doubt it would happen but it would just be a cool thing to see. Tito Ortiz vs Chuck Liddell in 2012. Who would have thought!

you're right, chuck would have nothing to gain at all from that fight.  also i actually see tito winning this time.   i say give him a rematch with the janitor that first one was kinda close and they're still at about the same level.

No, if K1 Tito got beat in less than 3 minutes by Little Nog, Chuck wouldn't even have to train for this one.

Tito would easily win. This would happen around July. Thats almost 2 yrs ring rust for Chuck. I think Tito would take this fairly easily.

Tito Ortiz vs. Rich Franklin would be better, and I think would be a great fight to say goodbye to both of them inside the octagon.

Chuck Liddell as nothing left to prove, and I don't think Dana will advise Chuck to come out of retirement for this fight. Nobody really wants to see Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin III

But Tito Ortiz vs. Rich Franklin - both future hall of famers at the twilight of their careers.. that would absolutely be the perfect farewell match for the both of them! Have them headline for free on FX or something.

I think Chuck has everything to gain, he was obviously in his best shape in years while training to fight Tito only to have him pull out. And we all know there is only two things that could bring Liddell out of retirement, Tito Ortiz or an immediate title shot. I'm not sure what would happen but i'd love to see it.

I like your point too @mortis, but i could not see Tito winning that fight at all, which is fine with me. And i don't see Rich retiring for a couple of years...

Not really, if he loses to Tito its like he losses his two wins over Tito. I think there is no reason for Chuck to even play with it, and he should stay retired. He is significantly older than Tito, and that becomes a bigger factor every year.

Really the title should be "Tito Ortiz trying to remain relevant by saying something ridiculous that has absolutely no chance of happening" I like Tito but cmon......really?

Chuck gains nothing from a 3rd fight, since he always beat Tito twice.  I kinda doubt he'd win a 3rd time in his current situation either.  Seems like a strong gust of wind would KO'd Chuck these days, not to mention all the rust he'd have to shake off while Tito's been active.

A Wand rematch is far more interesting and realistic because "A:" It could actually happen. and "B:" He actually has a chance of winning.

I don't think the Wandy fight is too realistic.. he is doing TUF and locked up to fight.  When is that fight happening anyways?  I think @Mortis has a good idea.

I think chuck would pound Tito, I think a better retirement fight for him would be to fight forrest.

This would be epic.. both pretty much have nothing to lose.. i think tito would knock him out tough..

My choice would be Tito vs Rich Franklin
