Im happy to see Rashad willing to take another fight if the title shot is delayed again! Means he actually learned he's not gonna be fighting forever and year long delays aren't helping him any!

Rashad/Shogun would be an incredible fight...Especially if the Rashad that fought Tito is here to stay!

Rashad vs. Shogun would definitely be a good fight, and tough to call.  Right now I feel like Evans' wrestling would make the difference, and sway the fight toward Evans for a decision victory.

I think Shogun would catch him in the 2nd or 3rd.  Rashad's only chance imo would be to take him down, keep him there, tire him and hope to goodness not to be submitted (obviously all while trying to inflict damage).

Shogun has a better chance than most to beat Rashad but I would still go with Suga.

Evans/Rua would definitely be an interesting match and one i'd love to see!

i'm not sure who i'd root for and god knows who'd i'd pick if the fight does happen lol.

being a fan of both i'd probably end up shouting instructions at them both while watching the fight lol... i spose deep down i would be rooting for Shogun but i wouldn't mind if Rashad won either.

Shogun would duplicate what Machida did to Evans and what he did to Machida

Maybe Shogun will get the first shot at Rashad's belt. As a huge Rashad fan I would love to see him fight Shogun. Even more so though I'd like to see him fight Machida.....oh wait Machida's wife won't let him!!!!

Shogun should take it but wouldn't be surprised if Rashad won a decision. I'd still bet on Shogun though.

Shogun over Rashad is a sure thing imo. I was set to put 500 dollars on their fight before Evans pulled out. Rua is too powerful and too diverse on the feet. I like Rashad but his worst asset is his chin and he'd get hit hard before he can get on top, and Shogun may have bad TDD but he has a dynamite bottom game specifically designed for getting up off of his back.

Of course most people would pick Shogun over Evans. The people on Tapology don't like Rashad. I think it will be a long time until the next time someone beats Rashad. If Shogun and Rashad ever fought Rashad would take Rua down pin him against the cage and punch him in the face. I like both fighters but Rashad would have that one.

I like that Rashad's going for finishes now, hopefully he'll keep it that way, maybe we'll finally see him get a submission...

People are picking Shogun to beat Rashad not because they don't like Rashad, but because Shogun has shown more in his fights: In his last fight, for example, he finished the same opponent in less than 2 minutes that Rashad finished in the third round after having LOST the first two rounds.

And the oddsmakers apparently agree that Shogun is better, since he was favored by more than 2-1 in all the sports books when he and Rashad were going to fight at UFC 128 - and with Shogun having since done what I have referenced above, he will be favored by even more than that if it turns out that he is going to fight Rashad, as appears to be the plan, should he beat Dan Henderson - and I for one see Shogun as something akin to a lock in the Hendo fight.

@Anthony... Shogun was also submitted by Griffin, Rashad wasn't. That doesn't matter.

@AnthonyBrancoto Only 1 year before Rashad beat Forrest.. Rashad would probably have finished Griffin in the firrst aswell at 134. You seem like a hater not a fan.
