According to the report, McGregor is estimated to have earned $22M in the last year. $18M from the UFC and another $4M in endorsement deals.

I doubt even the likes of GSP or Anderson Silva can say the same. Wonder where Rousey would fall at her peak earning.

GSP was making a lot....I forget exactly but when people broke down the PPV points pay scale for his contract and the numbers he generated I think it was pretty similar to what Conor is listed as earning, I heard GSP earned 8-12million a fight ( but that may have included sponsor's I am not sure, Underarmour pays well). Discussing pay is one of the most annoying MMA discussions though, everyone has an opinion and it often lies on one side of the thought spectrum or the other without too much concrete disclosure of what guys are making (especially the big draws, but fighters in general really. Although it's obvious they are grossly underpaid).

GSP slowly climbed his way up into stardom and was able to to see 600,000-1million PPV's for on each PPV he headlined for over 5 years though. For some reason, I think Conor is more of a fad and if he loses to Diaz once more, I really think his brand is going to be damaged. ON-TOP of that I think he's lost focus, has been doing hard drugs and has put muscle on during all this time focusing on 155 and 170lbs along with aging....I just don't think he will have any sort of longevity at 145lbs at this point...Maybe 1 defense, 2 tops if that. I don't think he can cut it at 155lbs though, and he's never fought at 170lbs he just keeps fighting a fringe top 10 LW at 170lbs because he feels it's good posture for him to either make excuses for the loss/perfomance or get praise from the idiots who really think he's going up 2 divisions to fight Nate Diaz the 170lb great.

From my sources ... and I only have one, GSP was making about $12M annually at his peak. Not sure if that included sponsors.
