One of the most underrated fighters of all time IMO. He sort of got lost in the shuffle there in the pre and post-TUF UFC explosion. Franklin had a lot of diehard fans, but after losing twice to Anderson Silva, he was in no man's land for years.
Still, he's got victories over Okami, Lutter, Hamill, Wanderlei (twice) and Chuck ... and also was well on his way to finishing Dan Henderson if it weren't for tons of crazy fouls by Dan and a lack of five-round main events at the time.
If so inclined, I ran a two-part interview with Rich years ago on the Tapology Blog. One of the best experiences I had while running that long-deceased section of the site.
