Interesting move. Apparently he walks at 180 and cuts are getting to be too much!

I think he's going to be like Nate Diaz fighting at 170. He'll beat the lower to mid-tier guys he outclasses, but he won't have the strength to deal with most top 20 fighters.

Poirier is one of my favorite fighters, I hope this is good for him, but I would't put my money on it.
