60% is nothing to be ashamed of. As of today you can see the pick percentages when you hover over each user's avatar in the forum.

Im a little over 62% with over 70 fights picked. If you stay over 60% and you bet on every fight, over time, you could make a lot of money. MMA is tough to bet on cause there are so many ways to win. And with so many upsets, it can be hard to stay in the black, so to speak. But 60% is right where you need to be, I think.

I agree, 60% is very respectable depending on how often you pick.
P.S. I love the new addition of pick percentage when you hover! Great Job!!!

I love coming into threads like this and bragging about my pick percentages, but I won't do that, now that you can just hover over my name to see it.

...66.7

I shouldn't get too ****y though, I have a terrible feeling about tommorow's fight night.

the thing is, pick percentage is important but it's only one measure of knowledge and competence.  i respect someone who is willing to take more underdogs, whether it's to go against conventional wisdom or to accumulate the upset awards.  in some ways picking at 55% and having all the upset awards is cooler than picking at 65% but having none of them. that's how i view it, but it depends on your approach.

@Jeremy, I agree, I try to pick at least a few underdogs per card and it feels good when you correctly predict an upset

right -- think about how much better it feels when you've been calling for the underdog to win and he does; it's almost better than calling 5 or 6 favorites on a card, especially if they're heavy favorites.

68.4%, but I've only had picks in three events so it's a pretty small sample size.

I've been creeping up steadily, 63.9 now. Taking a few risks tonight so we'll see where that goes.
