Reason for Dispute

On the 23rd of July of 2022, the athlete Adam Santos, nickname Paqueta, was fighting on Centro Oeste Fight 16, against the opponent Gabriel Gomes. In the very first round, Adam Santos applied a Rear Naked Choke and the opponent tapped, giving up the combat ( attachment 01 ) and on the weblink from 1:23:20 till 1:23:30. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-HKBfmkISo Continuing, after the opponent tapped, the athlete Adam Paqueta untied the choke to preserve the integrity of the fighter and for no reason, the referee did not stop the fight. Thus, the combat was carried on till the end of the 3 rounds and the referees decided the winner by unanimous decision was Gabriel Gomes. Immediately after the fight, we contacted the COF - Centro Oeste Fight director/owner Argemiro Delmandes - to request the procedures to Appeal the result, as per the facts above. We tried to appeal the decision, however, due to the lack of professionalism, credibility, and legality, where the ''athletic commission'' did not provide the procedures to submit the appeal, and after reiterated communication the ''athletic commission'' said we would not be able to submit any appeal. Thus, due to a sensitive situation, with a restriction of rights, partiality, and lack of professionalism, credibility, and legality as mentioned above, we would like to open this dispute for the visibility of the fans, media, and fighters and seeking for justice.
