There was a time I wasn't interested in any sport at all.

The firsts of MMA fighters who I saw were Fedor and Spider Silva, I guess. But at that time the fights haven't get in my heart yet.

I remember my friend told me about UFC, he was so exited. He called the names of Silva, Pettis, Condit and told me about some guy named Khabib, told me this guy did wrestle with a bear cub in a childhood. At that time Nurmagomedov had only a couple of fights in the UFC and almost no one knew him even in Russia. I was interested in it but not very much.

Andrey Koreshkov became my guide to the world of MMA.

I accidentally saw on TV Andrey's fight in Bellator ended with a spectacular knockout. I was very empressed! His life story touched me and I began to waiting and watching his every fight and I was truly believed Andrey can be a champion.

Just because of "Spartan" I became more and more interested in fights, I started watching Bellator and UFC events on live. Since 2013-2015 I've been catching up on everything from the world of MMA that I missed before. It sucks that I missed golden age of Pride but it's good that the records of the fights are preserved on the Internet. What about UFC 1-10 and many many other legendary moments of the sport - hell yeah, I rewatched all of this and I very like it! Let's gooo!

So it's a fact - I became a MMA fan because of Andrey Koreshkov but not because of Conor or Khabib. I mean most of people in Russia have started watching MMA because of this two. It is what it is but I don't like casual fans.
