If Silva manages to duck Sonnen and gets out of the rematch he should give up the belt.

Silva already signed a rematch but then he got suspended for roids. I guess you can say that Chael ducked Silva.

I agree with @waikru- On this thread people are smashing Silva. I like both fighters personally. I even met Sonnen last weekend after he beat Stann for crying out loud. However, the facts are this:
If it wasn't for Sonnen testing positive for extra levels of testosterone, this fight would've already happen. The Middleweight division is WEAK! Plain and simple! I see no threat to Silva except for Sonnen's wrestling game. If and when he prepares for this fight, rest is assured (Just like GSP), Silva will have the best in the world helping him train for this fight. This fight none the less will be EPIC AND hopefully take place in the great state of Texas :D

No GOAT on the verge of retirement has the obligation to fight anyone, especially someone who he already beat. I would prefer to watch AS last 3 - 4 fights against new opponents.
