The fighters are weighed in and we're set for another UFC event!!!

UFC Fight Night San Diego kicks off Wednesday night with Frank Mir taking on Todd Duffee in the main event. Flying criminally under the radar is a great lightweight bout between Josh Thomson and Tony Ferguson.

Prelims kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET before transitioning to FS1 for the rest of the prelims and main card at 8pm.

Enjoy!

So, I guess Tony Ferguson is just a top 5 lightweight. I never saw this level of success coming for him when he was on TUF. This might be making a run for FOTN.

Thompson desperately needs to get a finish in order to win this fight.

Can someone please explain why Ferguson decides to attempt low % submissions while dominating all of the striking exchanges?

If that fight went into a 4th round Thomson would have been in danger of losing via death stoppage - all his blood fell out.

Great fight. I'd probably say FOTN even though it was a little one sided just because of the heart and refusal to quit of Thomson. Speaking of Thomson, he might want to start thinking about retirement. He hasn't looked like himself in his last few fights.
