Considered by many to be the most decorated wrestler to compete inside the octagon, Mark Schultz debuted in the UFC in 1996.  Remarkably, Schultz took the fight on short notice only four months after his brother's murder.  

Schultz defeated Gary Goodrich, but injured his back during the fight.  Schultz would retire from MMA after the victory, and return to coach wrestling at Brigham Young University.

    The movie was based on Schultz's 2014 memoir: Foxcatcher: The True Story of My Brother's Murder, John du Pont's Madness, and the Quest for Olympic Gold

    Mark Schultz was played by Channing Tatum in the movie.
