@Noster75
You could be totally right but personally i do not think Lane is good at all, i can see him getting finished early and cut from the UFC after the eye poke then loss vs Tafa. i really don’t think Lane has the patience and technique of anybody in the division. to me he’s a swing and pray hype fighter because he played in the NFL. Like i said, i might be totally wrong but i don’t see a ton of skill in Lane

Means vs. Medic
Tim Means, TKO, R3
Low Confidence (honestly might switch pick eventually) : Tim Means has been in the ufc for almost 10 years, fighting some good competition (Belal, Magny, D-rod, Dalby, Holland). He has shown good technical boxing and sometimes shows solid wrestling. I like his straight punches down the middle, but sometimes he gets sucked into a fire fight where he will accept throwing blows at the same time as his opponent with little to no defense. Usually he survives these and has won fights getting into fire fights, but it may cost to do it against Medic. Medic has powerful kicks and punches and is likely going to try to get Means out of there. I think Means actually has a solid chance though, as it's hard to get rid of him and he probably will have cardio advantage. If means can stay away from the power shots of Medic I think he can win, using his boxing and maybe mixing in grappling. Medics last 5 wins are all knockouts, but it's Means has only been KO/tko'd twice in his 49 pro fights. Means might take Medic to his first decision.

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, TKO, R3
Medium Confidence: Not too impressed with either, but with that being said Llontop seems more well rounded. I think he wins mostly all the striking exchanges, and hold his own in the grappling. I think Padilla might have success in the first round potentially getting a takedown or two to secure the round, but I cant see him finishing Llontop. I see Llontop taking over as the fight goes on getting a late finish or decision. Padilla lost his last 3 decisions, and hasn't won a decision since 2014.

Just bet a few thingies
#1 Llontop + Perry

Llontop - gets a weeks replacement vs. a regional dude who struggles against better comp, did a tape study and I trust Llontop's good enough to win
Perry - I had to add this in 😭. Alves is pushing 40 and a 3 YEAR LAY OFF, while Perry has found his specialty in BKFC, Free $$$
2 of my most confident picks this week.

#2 Henry + Spann vs. Guskov U1.5

Henry - Yahya looked the slowest ever vs. Montel and Henry actually got a round from one judge in the Basharat fight. Will be trusting Henrys sambo, stuff takedowns & keep it standing. Might be a retirement fight.
Spann vs. Guskov U1.5 - Like 12/15 of Guskovs fights have ended in the first and Spann's also a quick finisher. Both men have been KO'd, Guskov has also been finished quickly via Sub. I expect a confident Under 1.5.

Nicolau vs. Perez
Matheus Nicolau, DEC
48/47 Nicolau is is just better everywhere right now than perez and nicolau is good at keeping range but i have a feeling it could be a bloody war. Could be a finish but i doubt it.

Spann vs. Guskov
Ryan Spann, SUB, R2
Rear Naked Choke. Spann got better grappling and is taller and more experienced. Guskov could win though because Spann is 0-2 with Anthony Smith and Guskov is his clone. I can soo Bogdan ko'ing him but i think Spann is cleaner and has a big reach advantage and will use it and i could also see Spann catching him on the feet and knocking him out.

Silva vs. Lipski
Karine Silva, SUB
silva got really good submissions and lipski wont be able to defend for long. If i had to say what round probably the 2nd.

Diniz vs. Lane
Jhonata Diniz, TKO, R1
glass chin lane's sadly gonna get flopped again. Crazy prospect in Jhonata Diniz btw could get into the rankings fairly soon.

Pearce vs. Onama
David Onama, TKO, R2
still dont know if this fight is still on since onama missed weight but if it is still on i think he tko's pearce by catching him when he comes in with a straight punch and tko's him against the fence.

Means vs. Medic
Uros Medic, TKO, R2
Really cool fight. Medic has a slight edge here though and i like that he was in there against jalin turner.

Yahya vs. Henry
Victor Henry, DEC
hopefully henry's nuts are intact after the 294 incident.

Mayes vs. Machado
Don'Tale Mayes, TKO
bro mayes is actually better than most of these average fat apex heavyweights. He was doing well against nascimento and nactimento is pretty good and is fighting my bbg derrick lewis.

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, TKO, R1
Llontop is him tbh

Hayisaer vs. Benítez
Maheshate Hayisaer, TKO, R2
Benitez is getting pieced up in this fight i have a feeling.

Very sad that the MMA world has lost one of the cooler nicknames out there. Lipski is no longer "The Queen of Violence". She's just "The Queen" now. Also not sure if she got married or if she's been married and is just using her maiden name now, but apparently she's Ariane "The Queen" Lipski Da Silva now.

Just throwing this out there in case anyone is really, really confused later if the UFC shows us a graphic of "Silva vs. Da Silva".

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 565 Points   |   Tied for 814th

Nicolau vs. Perez
Alex Perez, DEC
Contrarian pick of the card for me. Nicolau is too hard for me to trust over 5 rounds. He loves fighting to his opponents level. Should be some decent scrambles in this one. If Nicolau had better finishing ability I'd feel better about taking him. I honestly like Perez here fighting twice in six weeks. I think that Mokaev fight probably helped him clear some serious cob webs. Nicolau is too content to point fight for my liking. I think Perez makes this a dog fight and wins a close one here 3-2. This is honestly a very, very even matchup that's hard to predict. Neither guy has ever really had an impressive performance against a big name. Nicolau didn't beat Kape IMO, so his best win to date is probably Tim Elliot. Same thing with Perez. His best win is probably against Formiga and that was ages ago. Both of these guys are desperate to make a statement and stay relevant. Nicolau is just too "deer in the headlights" for me. As defensively sound as he is, I think he leaves a lot on the table when it comes to offense.

Spann vs. Guskov
Ryan Spann, TKO, R1
Guskov probably gonna get a little too excited trying to get into Spanns face. I think he either gets flattened or dropped and subbed pretty easy. If Spann uses his reach and works his jab, which is actually really crisp when he's on point, this fight will be a cake walk. Bogdan lacks skill but this guy is a dog with serious power. As long as Spann isn't ******* around, he's got this. As untrustworthy as he is at times, I've seen Spann beat better fighters.

Silva vs. Lipski
Karine Silva, TKO, R2
I'm on the Killer Silva hype train and riding it until the wheels fall off.

Diniz vs. Lane
Jhonata Diniz, TKO, R2
These two guys are absolute units. Somebody gotta die. I'm not blown away by Diniz at all but he should be able to put Lane away, who I'm just not impressed with whatsoever.

Pearce vs. Onama
Jonathan Pearce, SUB, R3
I was honestly leaning Onama until the bad weight miss. He looked completely dejected on the scales. Give me JSP all day in what should still be a pretty entertaining fight.

Means vs. Medic
Uros Medic, TKO, R2
Man this is a tricky, tricky fight. Medic is a pretty good striker and has a good shot of finding Means chin, but he's looked pretty one dimensional to me so far. The odds on this one seem just a tad off. Means fumbles so many fights by getting subbed but Medic isn't much of a threat in that regard. Not a ton of confidence in this one.

Yahya vs. Henry
Victor Henry, DEC
Yahya gotta be done after this. The heart and grappling is still there but the chin and speed is not.

Hubbard vs. Figlak
Michal Figlak, DEC
Figlak should have some improvements to show off in this fight. I don't think I'd pick Hubbard against anyone with a pulse. Pretty low level fight here to be honest, but I think Figlak has more to show. Ziam isn't a world beater but that's not an easy debut fight for a guy who hasn't even reached double digit fights in his career yet.

Mayes vs. Machado
Don'Tale Mayes, DEC
Machado will have a speed advantage but that's about it. Mayes has plenty of power and the ability to mix it up a bit. Give me the vet here.

Souza vs. Mann
Ketlen Souza, DEC
Souza looked terrified on the scales but I think she'll succeed here. Mann is just to small.

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, DEC
Llontop a good striker but I didn't hate what I saw in the tape form Padilla. I think Padilla avoids getting finished and makes Llontop really earn a win here. If Padilla pulls this off I really wont be surprised at all. His record doesn't jump off the page but he's fought some decent competition.

Petrović vs. Liang
Ivana Petrović, DEC
Invicta fight.

Hayisaer vs. Benítez
Maheshate Hayisaer, TKO, R2
No finishing ability from Moggly, whos simply too long in the tooth at this point to beat a striker like Maheshate over 15 minutes. I'd be lying if the chest acne and blonde hair on Maeshate didn't really throw me off but I'm not gonna overthink this one.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 1510th

Nicolau vs. Perez
Matheus Nicolau, SUB, R3
Nicolau will win by sub because Perez can't defend submissions to save his life.

Spann vs. Guskov
Bogdan Guskov, TKO, R1
Spann is more talented but once he starts getting hit with punches he's going to fold again. I'll take Guskov to finish him early.

Silva vs. Lipski
Karine Silva, SUB, R1
Silva gets Lipski down and subs her. If this fight stays standing I think Lipski beats her up.

Diniz vs. Lane
Jhonata Diniz, TKO, R1
Quick finish for Diniz will end the UFC run for Lane.

Pearce vs. Onama
Jonathan Pearce, DEC
Pearce will win a grapple heavy decision. I wouldn't be surprised if Onama finishes him but JSP is the way better grappler.

Means vs. Medic
Tim Means, DEC
Medic is not very good and Means is a dog. If Means is not completely washed I think he walks Medic down and throws out enough volume to win a decision.

Yahya vs. Henry
Victor Henry, TKO, R2
I think Henry hurts Yahya bad at some point and finishes him.

Hubbard vs. Figlak
Austin Hubbard, DEC
I'll take Hubbard to win by using his wrestling. We've seen Figlak taken down before and he gets stuck on his back. I think Figlak is talented though.

Mayes vs. Machado
Don'Tale Mayes, DEC
Mayes will win if he decides to use his wrestling. Both guys are low level but Machado is really bad.

Souza vs. Mann
Ketlen Souza, DEC
Both aren't UFC caliber but I think Souza beats her up badly.

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, TKO, R1
Layup for Llontop. Padilla would never be in the UFC without a short notice call.

Petrović vs. Liang
Ivana Petrović, TKO, R2
Ground and pound coming. Liang is so bad. No heart, no cardio.

Hayisaer vs. Benítez
Gabriel Benítez, TKO, R2
I'm gonna take the dog here. I know Benitez has looked washed but I'm not high on Maheshate and I think the leg kicks from Gabriel can give him problems.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 495 Points   |   Tied for 1963rd

Nicolau vs. Perez
Alex Perez, TKO, R4
PEREZ HAS SKILLS AND NICOLAU HAS NO POWER. I THINK PEREZ KNOCKED THE DUST OFF THE BOTTLE AND HE HAS A HISTORY OF BEING ABLE TO HANDLE DUDES THAT FIGHT LIKE NICOLAU FIGHTS. I THINK PEREZ SEE THE DIVISION LIKE THIS, ALL THE DUDES THAT BEAT ME ARE ON THE SIDELINE AND THE CURRENT CHAMP HAS A HISTORY WITH ME, IF I BEAT THIS KID THEN I CAN GET AN IMMEDIATE MONEY FIGHT. HE WATCHED THE TWO DUDES THAT TUNED HIM UP GET RICH AND HE'S COMING FOR THAT BAG AND I DON'T THINK PILLOW FISTS IS GONNA BE ABLE TO STOP HIM. IF WE GET OLD SCHOOL PEREZ AND NOT MR. NO STRIKES GIVEN FROM HIS LAST FIGHT I THINK HE'S GOING TO PUT SOME PAIN ON MATHEUS.

Spann vs. Guskov
Ryan Spann, SUB, R1
RYAN SPANN IS A SERIOUS HEADCASE AND BOGDAN ISN'T GOOD FRFR AND THEY BOTH HAVE SUSPECT GAS TANKS. SOMEBODY SHOULD BE GOING TO SLEEP I JUST PICKED THE BETTER ALL AROUND FIGHTER.

Silva vs. Lipski
Karine Silva, SUB, R2
SILVA IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN WOMENS MMA, SHE'S A KILLA. SHE'S NOT GONNA STAY SAFE IF IT MEANS THE OTHER GIRL SURVIVES. I THINK LIPSKI HAS HAD A GREAT COMEBACK BUT SHE HAS SHINED AGAINST LESSER COMPETITION. SILVA IS THE REAL DEAL. NOW LIPSKI DOES HAVE TWO ADVANTAGES, HER STAND UP AND HER CARDIO. THE ISSUE FOR LIPSKI IS OFF HER BACK IF SHE GETS TAKEN DOWN SHE HAS LOOKED TERRIBLE.

Diniz vs. Lane
Jhonata Diniz, TKO, R1
DINIZ IS A DAWG, A SLOW DAWG BUT A DAWG REGARDLESS AND HE'S A LIFE LONG FIGHTER. LANE NEEDS TO GET THIS OVER WITH QUICK SO HE CAN GO AND JUMP ON SOME TEAMS PRACTICE SQUAD FOR ANY TEAM THAT'LL TAKE HIM.

Pearce vs. Onama
David Onama, SUB, R2
ONAMA IS FAT AND IT'S HARDER TO WRESTLE FAT PEOPLE AND PEARCE INSTA TAPPED IN A FIGHT HE WAS WINNING UP UNTIL HE STARTED TALKING THAT ISH AND GOT INSTANT KARMA. ONAMA HAS ALL OF THE SKILL NO WORK ETHIC BUT HE SHOULD BE NEEDING SOME CASH RIGHT NOW AND A GOOD END TO HIS CONTRACT AFTER THE NATE LOSS.

Means vs. Medic
Uros Medic, TKO, R1
MEDIC SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THIS OTHER GRANDFATHER WITH NO ISSUES, HE MIGHT ACTUALLY GET HIS FIRST SUB BECAUSE MEANS WILL GIVE YOU HIS NECK FOR THE CHOKE WITHOUT THINKING TWICE ABOUT IT BEFORE HE TAKES LEGIT BRAIN DAMAGE.

Yahya vs. Henry
Victor Henry, TKO, R2
BOTH THESE MEN CAN EASILY HAVE GRANDCHILDREN. RANI NEEDS TO STOP IT SERIOUSLY AND HOPEFULLY HENRY CAN HELP HIM MAKE THAT TOUGH DECISION TO RETIRE.

Hubbard vs. Figlak
Michal Figlak, TKO, R3
THESE TWO ARE BOTH BUMS IN MY OPINION BUT FIGGY IS MORE ENTERTAINING AND HAS MORE UPSIDE I GUESS.

Mayes vs. Machado
Caio Machado, DEC
THESE DUDES ARE BOTH SUS AF, THE DUMB DON'DADA AND THE CHILD OF PILE AND MARY JANE ROTTEN CROTCH FROM FULL METAL JACK ARE ABOUT TO GET IT ON IN THE OCTAGON AND IT WON'T BE THE FIRST TIME FOR DON'DADA WHO DISPLAYED SOME OF HIS SKILLS IN A MATCH WHERE HE GOT HIS OPPONENT IN A COWBOY 69 POSITION AND HIT HIM REPEATEDLY WITH THE MAN MEAT HARDER THAN JONNY SINS. I THINK CAIO CAN PULL THIS OUT AND I HOPE SO BECAUSE IF THE SHOE IS ON THE OTHER FOOT DON AIN'T PULLIN OUT ISH AND THEN CAIO IS GONNA NEED TO SPEND A CHUNK OF MONEY ON A COUPLE PLAN B'S. REAL TALK NEITHER OF THESE DUDES ARE GOOD BUT DON'I'M GONNA TAKE THAT TALE MAYES HURT JON JONES SO I REALLY JUST NEED HIM TO GET KNOCKED OUT.

Souza vs. Mann
Ketlen Souza, TKO, R2
SOUZA LOOKS LIKE SHE CAN GIVE THESE CHICKS DOWN AT 115 SOME WORK AND MANN HAS A SERIOUS LACK IN SKILL AND CONFIDENCE. MANN HAS HEART BUT HER SKILLS ARE TRASH. THAT BS SHE'S DOING OUT THERE DOESN'T WORK AT THIS LEVEL, NOT THE STRIKING, TAKEDOWNS OR THE LACK OF TOP CONTROL. NOW SOUZA LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS TRASH TAKEDOWN DEFENSE AND GROUND GAME AND THAT MAY BE TRUE BUT SHE'S STRONG LIKE A BOY AND MANN IS STRONG LIKE A SOY BOY, IT'S A DIFFERENCE. NOT TO MENTION LIKE A COUPLE OTHER FIGHTERS ON THIS CARD MANN HASN'T SEEN A STRIKE THAT SHE DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE RIGHT IN THE MOUTH. SHE'S A CONTENDER SERIES HEAD KICK LOSER...NOT UFC LEVEL. NOW HER INSTAGRAM SAYS SHE'S READY TO RUMBLE BUT THIS WILL BE HER 3RD FIGHT IN JUST OVER 1 YEAR AND I JUST DON'T SEE HER SKILLS IMPROVING ENOUGH TO COVER THE HOLES IN HER GAME. UPSIDE FOR MANN IS WHILE SHE'S BEEN FIGHTING AND IMPROVING SOUZA HAS BEEN RECOVERING FROM A KNEE INJURY. I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY HOW BAD IT WAS BUT MANN MIGHT BE ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GIRL COMING BACK OFF INJURY A YEAR AGO WHO'S A PRIMARY STRIKER. STRIKERS TAKE TIME TO GET THAT GROOVE BACK AND IF MANN DOESN'T LET HER THEN SHE CAN BE ONE OF THE LEAST SKILLED FIGHTERS TO GET A UFC WIN.

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, TKO, R3
JAMES BETTER WIN THIS FIGHT. HE CAME IN FAT AND LOOKING LIKE A TURD ON THE SCALE BUT HE'S FROM PERU SO I TRUST HIM TO SMOKE CHRIS. IT'S A DIFFERENT TYPE OF DAWG COMING OUT OF CERTAIN COUNTRIES AND I TRUST THAT EVEN THOUGH HE BOTCHED THE DEBUT HE'LL HANDLE CHRIS NO ISSUES.

Petrović vs. Liang
Na Liang, TKO, R1
THIS IS THE MOST MEME FIGHT ON THE CARD. I'M TAKING NA BECAUSE IVANA IS WEAK AF AND SHE FIGHTS LIKE SHE DOPED UP AND NEEDS TO GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE TO GET INTO THE FIGHT. IVANA IS SKILLED IN SCRAMBLING BUT SHE'S WEAK, DEPENDING ON MOMENTUM AND FLEXIBILITY TO GET THE BETTER OF SCRAMBLES. NA IS ALL GAS NO BREAKS, SHE'S WAAAAY FASTER ON THE FEET BUT SHE'S ALSO OUT THERE FIGHTING HIGH ON SOMETHING BECAUSE SHE'LL THROW A COMBO THAT'S GOOD AND THEN SHE WILL KEEP HER ENTIRE FACE IN THE PERFECT SPOT FOR SOMEONE TO IMMEDIATELY GET THE COMEBACK COUNTER ON HER. IN NA'S FIRST COUPLE FIGHTS SHE WAS GOING UP AGAINST SOME WAY BETTER COMPETITION AS FAR AS SKILL AND DISCIPLINE ARE CONCERNED, THEY ALL HAD BETTER STANDUP THAN NA. IVANA HAS SOME OF THE WORST STANDUP I'VE EVER SEEN, IT'S TERRIBLE AND I THINK SHE'LL BE MOVING DOWN IN WEIGHT AFTER THIS L. THE MOVE UP I FEEL WILL HELP NA AND HER CARDIO PLUS I HONESTLY WANT TO SEE NA GET ANOTHER CONTRACT. IF NA GETS SOME ACTUAL SKILL IN THE STAND UP SHE'S GONNA GIVE US SOME AMAZINGLY ENTERTAINING WOMENS FIGHTS AND THAT'S WHAT ALL THOSE DIVISIONS NEED.

Hayisaer vs. Benítez
Maheshate Hayisaer, TKO, R3
THIS IS A PICK BASED ON MAHESHATE BEING YOUNGER, POSSIBLY IMPROVING AND HAVING BLONDE HAIR. ALSO BENITEZ IS REALLY LOOKING LIKE HE'S OLD. THE WAY HE QUIT IN THAT LAST FIGHT FELT LIKE HE HAD A BET ON HIMSELF LOSING BY SUB IN THE 3RD SO I'M GOING PLAY IT LIKE HE'S GOING TO TAKE THE L IN THE THIRD AGAIN. THE KID LOOKED GOOD AT WEIGHINS AND MOGGLY IS TAKING THIS ON SHORT NOTICE SO WE'LL SEE IF THE KID IS READY FOR A TOUGH STEP DOWN IN COMPETITION AND IS ABLE TO GET BACK SOME OF THAT SHINE HE HAD FROM HIS DEBUT.

It should be illegal for female fighters to change their surname. Write it in to law.
