Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 630 Points   |   Tied for 63rd

Lima vs. Jackson
Jason Jackson, DEC
Despite a very questionable decision loss in his last outing, I think Lima's best days are behind him. While Bellator's Welterweight division has largely remained the same mix of names the last several years, a Jackson W here could perhaps be a signal for a shakeup at 170 pounds

Outlaw vs. Musayev
Tofiq Musayev, TKO, R2
Very high on Tofiq and watching his Rizin LW tournament run was an absolute treat for JMMA. I don't hold the Satoshi loss against him at all considering they're both some of the best 155'ers outside the UFC. Hope his US debut puts some more eyes on him! A win here will slot him into the title picture immediately IMO, and I'm expecting him and Shabliy to duke it out for gold in the near future

Predictions: 0 of 1 Winners, 0 Perfect, 0 Points   |   Tied for 1197th

Lima vs. Jackson
Douglas Lima, TKO, R1
Douglas Lima is primarily a Striker. He has hands of stone and tibias of steel. He can knock out with a single connected punch or take down with a buildup of low-kicks. His JJB is pretty good too. His only weak point is his Wrestling. In almost all of his losses, they have taken him to the floor. Ben Askren beat him 50-43. Koreshkov, McDonald, Mousasi, Amosov. Jason Jackson's specialty is Wrestling. The Ass-Kicking Machin is on a 5-fight win streak thanks to how good a Wrestler he is. But, of those 5, 3 are average fighters. Benson Henderson and Paul Daley are no longer at their prime. And Neiman Gracie is good, but he's not great either, since he's so one-dimensional. Besides, the American black is inferior to the Brazilian mulatto in everything except Wrestling. Lima's weak point is Jackson's greatest strength, but the former Bellator MMA champion is a far superior Striker and Grappler. 60-40 in favor of The Phenom. Douglas Lima by KO / TKO in the 1st round.

Lmao Jason Jackson isn't on a 5 fight winning streak because of wrestling...

He kinda is. He outwrestled Benson, Neiman and Daley. Don't remember the Mein fight at all, but Jordan is prone to getting put on his back as well. Think Kunimoto is the only guy Jason didn't wrestle for extended periods of time.

It's actually quite a remarkable change he's made in terms of strategy since he used to be that explosive striker who went for the kill early.

Lima Misses Weight

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 580 Points   |   Tied for 206th

Can't believe Lima came in heavy. Not a good look. Was on Jackson before the weight miss.  Think Lima doesn't throw enough.  Think Jackson will utilize his grappling to get the W.

Lima vs. Jackson
Jason Jackson, DEC
Jason is on a roll right now, coming into his prime. This fight should go the full 25 and Jason should have done enough to beat this current version of Lima who seems to have lost a step or two.

Bates vs. Coates
Jaylon Bates, SUB, R1
Pretty interested to see how Bates's career goes.

One of the better match ups Bellator has made in a while. Genuinely don't know who's going to win.

Nerdy New Predictions

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 525 Points   |   Tied for 487th

Magomedov vs. Boehm
I am going with Akhmed Magomedov at -520. He has a macabre leg kick. Magomedov is gonna kick the performance.

Colgan vs. Nuro
I believe in Archie Colgan at -1100. He has a cryptic brainbuster. Colgan won't avoid the TV audience.

Franklin vs. Golm
I crave Davion Franklin at -240. He has a kooky omoplata. Franklin is about to undermine the achievement.

Faraldo vs. Iniguez
I tap Roman Faraldo at -1050. He has a priceless vulcan nerve pinch. Faraldo could clinch the rival.

Arteaga vs. Porto
I feel disposed to Vanessa Porto at -280. She has a killer clawhold. Porto shall embarass the performance.

Larkin vs. Berkhamov
I believe in Mukhamed Berkhamov at -150. He has a wondrous stutter step. Berkhamov ought to kick the underdog.

Bates vs. Coates
I am loyal to Jaylon Bates at -850. He has a zen osoto gari. Bates won't tweak the enemy.

Rabadanov vs. King
I am going with Gadzhi Rabadanov at -380. He has a sincere right hand. Rabadanov will likely claw the performance.

Cotton vs. Rosta
I am sniffing Dalton Rosta at -275. He has a sophisticated knife hand block and an advanced mindset. Rosta shall wobble the senses. So say we all!

Nurmagomedov vs. Gonzalez
I am all over Usman Nurmagomedov at -900. He has a zen touch of death. Nurmagomedov ought to drain the cage.

Lima vs. Jackson
I prefer Jason Jackson at -190. He has a leaden leg kick. Jackson ought to yank the dark horse.

Outlaw vs. Musayev
I select Tofiq Musayev at -150. He has a captivating dim mak. Musayev could bother the production. Count on it!
