UFC President Dana White confirmed Wednesday the promotion is moving forward with UFC Fight Night 176 in Las Vegas on May 30 with a main event featuring Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns.
White told Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal the card will take place at the UFC's Apex facility. Fans won't be allowed in attendance.
"We are a go on the 30th," White said.
Despite White's comments, the Nevada Athletic Commission has yet to end its suspension of combat sports amid the coronavirus pandemic and hadn't provided special permission for the UFC to hold next week's event as of Tuesday night, per Hill.
The UFC held three events at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, from May 9 through May 16. They represented the first cards since UFC Fight Night 170 in Brazil on March 14.
"If we can't get May 30 at the Apex, it's going to be super disappointing, but we will go somewhere else," White told reporters Saturday, adding he'd move the card to Arizona if necessary.

This card has tremendously improved man. Katlyn has beat better competition and has fought better competition coming off a loss to Valentina Shevchenko. Katlyn has great kickboxing and I think she will look great and make a statement.

Both of these women are pretty much the same fighter and it's difficult to determine who is less entertaining.
Val will be in her sisters's corner shouting out Hai-ya's every time she throws anything to boot. Find something else to do while this ****'s rolling. Chookagian by decision BTW.
Casey Kenney vs. Louis Smolka
Louis is an inconsistent rub-a-dub who has cost me money or more than one occasion and frankly he can smolka my pole. He should lose this pretty comfortably against the stronger offensive grappler/wrestler.
Roosevelt Roberts vs. Brok Weaver
Not sold on Weaver at all, and any man with a loss to Joe Riggs in BK is someone whose tenure in the UFC needs to be questioned. I like what I've seen from Roosevelt for the most part. He's developing well and is well rounded. I expect him to piece weaver up for a round and sub him out in the second.
