Great performance by Moraes. Give the man his shot now please. I thought he did lose the first one fair but feel it’s made them better. When he’s on and lands that powerful explosive accurate shot, I’m not sure who recovers. I believe it’s his time right now. Funny post fight busting Killashaw’s balls. 


Assunção was only finished twice before that. He was subbed by Faber and KOd by Koch.  

Though I’m happy for Moraes, I feel for Raph.  Very overlooked career and a good dude.   I was at his Koch fight and despite the outcome he hung out for hours at the hotel/bar talking with fans. You could see he was devastated by the loss and how he lost but was super cool, humble and positive about it. 

Great card overall. Terrible night of picks for me though.

Moraes will beat TJ. Unlike that neanderthal Garbrandt, when he ctaches Dillashaw hard ( and he will) he won't throw the fight away recklessly by swinging sloppily as my ablution post a vindaloo curry and getting countered. He will wait for the right moment. TJ is a solid wrestler but I think Moraes has the defensive wrestling chops to stymie him in that department, and is faster/has better shot selection. Moraes by KO/TKO and new.

Beating Assuncao is impressive, but he not only finished him. He finished him in the first! That’s crazy. Revenge gotten, even though I thought he won the first fight. I’d pick him over TJ for sure, WSOF and UFC champ hopefully before long. Good night of fights though. My only disappointments were Good getting finished, and Bibulatov being on the wrong side of that split.

Bibulatov did lose that fight imo. That alvez decision cost me money. Cejudo just said Moicano looked star struck in there. I kind of agree but won't take it away from aldo either. I hope someday assuncao still gets his tj trilogy
