Fighters who lose for the first time after having gone undefeated in their first 10 or more fights often lose next time out as well: Aaron Rosa did.  Jake O'Brien did.  Sean McCorkle did.  Diego Sanchez did.  Even Lyoto Machida did.

Now Ryan Bader has.

I am not a Tito fan by any means, but was baffled with the outcome.  I think one of the problems we see with some of these undefeated guys - specifically 1 dimensional guys is that once they get exposed they become easy targets.  I always felt that the guys that were able to evolve as fighters would have the most success in the cage.

Evan Dunham is a guy that came to mind when I read this thread.  Though I still think his loss to Sherk was a BS decision, it's still back to back losses after an 11-0 start.

I certainly didn't expect the outcome to happen the way it did, but i wasn't suprised that Tito one. Give Tito credit for a couple things 1) he did train his ass off and stayed injury free and 2) he went out of his own element for the first time in his career and trained in a new place with new coaches. Who else can make you better than someone who hasn't been hugging your nuts your entire career. Tito could quite possibly make himself "semi relevant" with these changes, though i don't think he'll ever fight for a title again. As for Bader vs Bonnor or Franklin - i don't think it's all that easy. Both guys are coming off wins and Bader is coming off two losses. I actually think both fighters are a too big a name for Bader. I'd give him a Jason Brilz or Matushenko type of fighter to see if he really does belong......

Is it just me or did Bader not look like himself in there? He was way more herky-jerky than when he fought Jones. Odd to me, but when I saw that I said Tito's going to win...though I didn't expect it so fast.
