I didn't think he had a chance, but he came in looking like he was in good shape, he moved well, and he threw with power.  Too many of us believed the storyline that Tito was completely washed up, when in retrospect the +500 betting line was kind of insulting, especially against a somewhat unproven Ryan Bader.

Congrats to Tito Ortiz who lives to fight another day.

Who should he be matched up with next? Stephan Bonnar? Kyle Kingsbury?

I don't know if they'd make him resign his post.  I don't think there would be any conflict of interest.

When Dana and Tito were going to box it wasn't a conflict of interest, so I don't see how Chuck/Tito 3 would be.

Actually.. no.  It was an exhibition boxing match not affiliated with Zuffa.  I guess if that isn't a conflict of interest, we could Robert Kraft box Tom Brady?  Or maybe Phil Jackson get in the cage with Kobe?  See what I mean there?  Definate conflict of interest... not to mention the union ramifications that would be involved... remember.. some are still attempting to organize/start a fighters union.

Yes, my good man, but you must remember that there is no fighters union and probably never will be. Zuffa calls the shots on what they want to have inside their octagon, not the fighters.
Fighters will do as they're told, or the fighters won't be fighting.

I was probably one of the hardest on Ttio Ortiz prior to the fight. I gave him ZERO chance of winning and thought Bader was too strong and Tito had become washed up. Then he just had to knock down Bader and sink in that gullotine and get the tap. I kept saying to myself "you got to be s***ing me" as I was in utter disbelief. I think I even got out of my room and paced for a while.

Maybe Bader was still shook up from the Jones fight, Myabe he did underestimate Ortiz a little bit. It's a moot point. Tito won. That is all that matters in this match. Two more wins and I could see the UFC give him a title shot. Market it with "road to redemption" (or Rocky) sort of story.

But I' getting ahead of myself. For now, we should give Tito props, espically us haters. Seriously Tito Ortiz...F*** you for proving me wrong and enjoy your victory :D

I don't hate TIto at all, but just like you, I gave him absolute zero chance of winning.
