Chris Tuchscherer Wiki
A regular training partner of the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar, UFC heavyweight fighter Chris Tuchscherer is an experienced MMA veteran in his own right, with over 20 professional fights to his credit. A Division II All-American wrestler, Tuchscherer began fighting professionally in 2004, and has since reeled off victories over Krzysztof Soszynski, Jason Miller, Travis Fulton, and Tim Hague.
A champion in several regional MMA promotions, Tuchscherer made his UFC debut in 2009, losing to former top contender Gabriel Gonzaga in the first round. Tuchscherer was unable to fully display his skillset in the Gonzaga fight, however, after receiving one of the worst unintentional groin shots in recent memory. Tuchscherer was fortunate to even be able to continue the bout, which he went on to lose shortly thereafter in his crippled state.
While Tuchscherer has demonstrated knockout power and submission skills in several of his career wins, he is not known for his finishing ability and instead looks to wear opponents down with his superior size and wrestling. He is a solid test at heavyweight and has yet to show his best stuff in the UFC.
