Denis Jurakic has a background in Judo having medalled at many tournaments over the years, mostly throughout Serbia and the Balkans. He has won the Serbian National Judo Championhsips title over 10 times, and is a multiple time European Cup winner. He has a JudoInside record of 52 - 33. Denis is fighting out of Ahilej Borilacka Akademija Belgrade. Jurakic won silver at the European Cup in Sarajevo in 2016, and won the European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2018. He also took a bronze medal at the European Cup in Belgrade in 2018, won gold at the Balkan Championships in Skopje in 2017 and in 2014 in Trebinje. Taking gold at the European Cup in Sarajevo in 2019, he would win the gold medal at the Serbian Championships in Belgrade in 2021.
