Pyfer not quite as dynamic as a striker as I remember after watching some tape. He's fast, got a pretty good jab and right straight. I like his body kicks against southpaw opponents. I also like his hooks to the body, although he goes to that pretty rarely.
He fights completely on a straight line though and is very vulnerable to leg kicks which might be a big problem against Hermansson as he kicks the calf a lot. Not sure Pyfer will want to go to his wrestling against Hermansson either. Still need to watch tape on Jack, but this is a closer fight than I initially thought. Pyfer's lack of experience also worries me. This is his first time going 5 rounds and Hermansson has proven he can go 5 at a pretty high pace.

Predictions: 7 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 465 Points   |   Tied for 2573rd

Hermansson vs. Pyfer
Joe Pyfer, TKO, R2
pyfer and hermansson have a good first round and then pyfer clean clocks him in the second round

Ige vs. Fili
Andre Fili, DEC
call me crazy i think Fili can avoid the power shot negate the grappling of fili and pick him apart from range with his striking maybe not the most exciting fight but a change in the division to say the least

Potieria vs. Bryczek
Robert Bryczek, TKO, R1
excited for this debut and against Ihor is even better it’s a good striking fight and likely ihor gets koed stepping in so soon

Tavares vs. Rodrigues
Gregory Rodrigues, DEC
Robocop beats the crap out of brad for three rounds but just doesn’t find the finish brad honestly does have a good chin he’s just been hit with some crazy shots

Johnson vs. Flowers
Michael Johnson, DEC
flowers is explosive and could land the power shot that puts MJ out again but i think MJ picks him apart from range and they win FOTN

Vieira vs. Petrosyan
Armen Petrosyan, TKO, R3
Petrosyan will easily stuff these takedowns and land good body kicks putting rodolfo down breaking him

Giles vs. Prates
Carlos Prates, TKO, R1
Prates actually seems like one of DWCS better fighters Giles is a good test

Oki vs. Hadžović
Bolaji Oki, TKO, R1
clear setup for Bolaji Damir is old and washed

Lookboonmee vs. Brasil
Bruna Brasil, TKO, R3
so here me out Loma has great wrestling but Brasil is going to be huge in this matchup and will have the advantage in the striking if she stuffs the takedowns i can see her finding a late stoppage

Clark vs. Prachnio
Marcin Prachnio, TKO, R2
if Prachnio stuffs takedowns he kos clark clark is chinny

Wells vs. Griffin
Jeremiah Wells, DEC
wells vs Griffin is probably going to be boring i think he both will be scared of getting chinned on account they don’t want another loss but i see wells being the better wrestler and just the overall stronger opponent winning a close decision

Pauga vs. Guskov
Bogdan Guskov, TKO, R1
i won’t say Bogdan is trash they gave him a big test in Volkan Pauga is pretty trash in my opinion he excels no where Bogdan is a powerhouse with great first round finishing abilities i see him chinning pauga fast

Amil vs. Garcia
Hyder Amil, DEC
idk Hyder but ik Fernie is a **** fighter who’s bound to be cut

Marcos vs. Aoriqileng
Daniel Marcos, DEC
Marcos outpoints Aoriqi on the feet, Aoriq has power but probably won’t land the big shot i see marcos winning the rounds

Vieira vs. Petrosyan
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R3
Vieira will likely get battered early in the fight but petrosyan doesn’t seem to have KO power and as the fight goes on, I have a hard time believing petrosyan can stuff vieira’s takedowns

Hermansson vs. Pyfer
Joe Pyfer, TKO, R2
Buying the hype

Ige vs. Fili
Dan Ige, DEC
Close dec

Potieria vs. Bryczek
Robert Bryczek, TKO, R1
Early KO, if Ihor looks good at weigh ins I may pick him

Tavares vs. Rodrigues
Gregory Rodrigues, TKO, R1
Robocop is simply better

Johnson vs. Flowers
Darrius Flowers, TKO, R1
Flowers season

Vieira vs. Petrosyan
Armen Petrosyan, DEC
I trust Petrosyan sub defense more than Vieira striking defense

Giles vs. Prates
Carlos Prates, TKO, R2
I think Gilles is not winning anymore

Oki vs. Hadžović
Bolaji Oki, TKO, R2
Should be Oki

Lookboonmee vs. Brasil
Loma Lookboonmee, DEC
Reach is the only thing that worries me but Loma should win anyways

Clark vs. Prachnio
Devin Clark, TKO, R3
Clark needs to win this one

Wells vs. Griffin
Max Griffin, TKO, R2
I don't like how Wells has been looking lately, not sure yet

Pauga vs. Guskov
Bogdan Guskov, TKO, R1
Early KO for Guskov or Pauga is winning, no other way

Amil vs. Garcia
Hyder Amil, DEC
Probably closer than odds but Amil should win

Marcos vs. Aoriqileng
Daniel Marcos, TKO, R2
Marcos can and has to KO him

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 305 Points   |   Tied for 4224th

Hermansson vs. Pyfer
Joe Pyfer, TKO, R3
Pyfer is getting pushed kinda hard, but tbh I like it. I don't think Hermansson is gonna have much for him on the feet and it seems Joe has enough wrestling knowledge to keep himself safe in that department. I'll expect a finish.

Ige vs. Fili
Andre Fili, TKO, R2
Ige has more consistently performed at a higher level than Fili IMO, though Fili could hit him with a bomb and get him in trouble. This is kinda even in my mind so I'll take the risky pick this time.

Potieria vs. Bryczek
Robert Bryczek, TKO, R2
Potieria isn't worth a **** at this level, bro's only win in the UFC is against a geriatric Shogun.

Tavares vs. Rodrigues
Brad Tavares, DEC
I'm taking Tavares in this one. IDK why, I have a bit of a feeling.

Johnson vs. Flowers
Darrius Flowers, TKO, R2
I have no idea why Michael Johnson is still being allowed to fight, let alone is being considered a ******* favorite. I don't know who's going to get mad at me, the FIVE Michael Johnson fans?

Vieira vs. Petrosyan
Armen Petrosyan, DEC
I'm a Petrosyan believer tbh. Borralho ended up being an absolute beast so that's not a bad loss at all.

Giles vs. Prates
Carlos Prates, TKO, R1
Brazilian Prospect alert. Plus, someone who only barely defeated Preston Parsons by split decision is someone that should not be in the UFC

Oki vs. Hadžović
Bolaji Oki, TKO, R1
Hadzovic is being sacrificed

Lookboonmee vs. Brasil
Loma Lookboonmee, DEC
A Thai woman's fighter? Interesting........ She has more UFC experience anyways so I got her.

Clark vs. Prachnio
Devin Clark, DEC
ehhhhhhhhhhhh idk man, these two are just kinda there. don't care about this fight at all.

Wells vs. Griffin
Jeremiah Wells, DEC
Journeyman ******* dies alert

Pauga vs. Guskov
Bogdan Guskov, TKO, R2
a loss to Oezdemir isn't that bad tbh, Pauga is likely done.

Amil vs. Garcia
Hyder Amil, DEC
journeyman ******* dies alert

Marcos vs. Aoriqileng
Daniel Marcos, DEC
Journeyman ******* dies alert

Unpopular belief. I have perfected a line movement in close fights. So I’ll say this now. I’m 90% confident Bogdan Guskov and Darrius Flowers both win. You’re welcome to make a meme out of me if they lose. They won’t. You’re welcome. ☺️
Mark my words. I won’t miss.

I ain't actually expecting Fili to go out there and finish Ige but I think he could actually give the man more trouble than most people would think. Fili can put almost anyone out if they aren't careful and don't respect his power.
