Ibrahim Barkinoev Wiki

Ibrahim Barkinoev is a Polish MMA fighter and the former PLMMA Flyweight champion. He was the first PLMMA fighter to be stripped of the title for not making the required weight for a title defense. After he came in at 59.9 kg (well above the 57 kg limit) for his title defense against Adrian Biniecki at PLMMA 43 in November 2014 the executive decision was made according to the recently introduced PLMMA rules and the title was vacated. As a result despite winning the fight he was not awarded the title which remains vacant. It was expected that he would get another chance to regain it when he was scheduled to face the returning Marcin Lasota in March 2015. However for (as of yet) undisclosed reasons Barkinoev was removed from the fight and instead Lasota faced and quickly defeated a promotional newcomer  Vitali Kozakov to claim the vacant title.
