UFC 269: Oliveira vs. Poirier

I’ve studied all of Peña’s fights 49 times EACH. What I took away from studying her fights is not an underdog, but a master of her craft. I feel like a story is being missed here, so here it goes:

I’m sorry, but you guys are being seriously delusional if you think Amanda is going to win this. The odds are absolutely stacked against her. For one, look at Peña’s record: she has wins over former champion Nicco Montano, former title challenger Jessica Eye, and most importantly: CAT ZIGANO. For those casuals unaware of a scientific measurement for fight analyzing we call “MMA Math”, Cat Zigano BEAT Nunes. By that logic, that means Cat Zigano is better than Amanda, which means Peña is better than Amanda. On top of that, look at that resume! There are over 7 Billion people alive today in the world, and only four of them beat Peña. 

Now that we have an understanding of basic numeral skills, let’s consider this for a moment: Peña says she has a plan. What kind of plan? Who the **** knows! All that matters is from what we now know about Peña as a world destroyer who brings desolation and destruction to all living things with a ******, we know for a fact that a tactical genius such as her CLEARLY knows something we don’t. Dare I say…a weakness???

Alas, maybe my facts and logic still don’t persuade you in my (and obviously right) opinion, maybe you scoff and laugh at me…but just keep in mind, when I eventually am right and drowning in ***** from all the money I got betting my entire life savings on her, who will be laughing then?

Dustin is tough as **** and can take punches well. For example, watching the first McGregor fight, he got clipped, didn't even get punched really. And just fell down. Now looking at their 2nd fight, he took some nasty shots from Conor, some looked deadly. What did he do? Pulled back, re-grouped and came back. Ultimately TKOed Conors sorry ass. 3rd fight was kind of a fluke, Conor really didn't take any serious damage but Dustin showed dominance, but that's debatable. That right there proves how much Dustin has improved, he's elite.

Oliveira is kind of the same but he is more of a submission artist. Looking at his early UFC footage he would give up or fold whenever he would get in trouble. But look at him now. He can take punches. Perfect example would be Chandler fight. TBH I thought he was done, but no! He showed that he is on a different level and can take some serious hits. Just like Dustin, he has evolved. He gets hit, it obviously hurts, he re-groups and comes back with full force.

I would give a slight edge to Dustin in terms of boxing but I feel like Oliveiras striking skills are underlooked here. Dustin has a good ground game but he is more of a striker and he's going against a submission artist of Charles Oliveira. Dustin is at 1.65 right now and I feel like it should be closer. Both are proven, both are elite. 
This is a fight I don't want either fighter to lose but I'm picking:


Charles Oliveira by 3rd round TKO or a close Decision (could be a competitive split decision)


But I won't be surprised if Dustin becomes LW Champ.
